    Ongoing reserves question.

So flyers can zoom off the board, and they come back in the next turn as part of ongoing reserves. I don't have the BRB in hand, but what, if any, restrictions are on the returning unit. More specifically, do you come in from your edge again or in keeping a "cinematic" game do they come in from the edge they left from? I imagine loops and hard banking just off the table edge.

I don't remember any restrictions for flyers, except perhaps their speed mode.
Confirmed p80-81. When re-entering the table from ongoing reserve, a flyer must zoom (even if it has hover mode). (Note that a Flying MC can re-enter in either of its modes, player's choice.) The only other restriction is that you cannot clip a corner of the table, arriving and leaving the table in the same turn.

There is a restriction that Outflankers can't continue to outflank after their first arrival, but that's the only thing that comes to mind about ongoing reserves.

EDIT: I encourage you to manually bank the flyer and make engine noises prior to entering the battlefield. Everyone will think you're cool.
Anyone remember Wargamescon Apoc Narrative tables last year (not this last one, a full year ago)... our game controller gave us permission to get some awesome ingame effect if we "flew" the marauder bomber around the whole apoc table like a kid vvvrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooommmmm swooooooooooooooooooooooooshhh pew-pew..... I think we were then allowed to Ram a titan with it. Epic.

So, what I gather is that if I make "zoomy" sounds I can loop back in however?

If you make a "zoomy" noise you can be Tom Cruise.

If you don't make a "zoom" noise, you have to be Goose.

    Haha.

It's your table edge matt. They make a big bank to left/right and come back around. At this point, then you must make fighter pew pew noises!

...yeah, It would have been nice to for the Imperials to know that was even an option and that we going to basically throw the book out the window that last turn. Not everyone liked that suprise-last-turn-go-nuts.
with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round
