Looks like both apocalypse narratives are 30k and based on events in Ultramar.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

Pfft - math. ROLL 6's PROBLEM SOLVED.with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

Yeah Nids in KT are at a serious disadvantage. You either take all Genestealers and Spore Mines or you spend half your points on Warriors to get synapse. I'm thinking of taking a single Zoanthrope, but that seems to be a huge liability.
A Lictor and a bunch of genestealers seems pretty fluffy for a kill team game. however, at that point we're just playing space hulk, amirite?!
