Why would you want to play a game by a company everyone hates or a game with a manual so terrible a website is needed to explain it?
Let's play some X-Wing tonight at DL! If you don't have any ships, I probably have plenty for you. If you want to learn, well, I'm a Community Builder TM (so there's a good chance you'll win).
And if you are one of those people that hates unpainted armies or can't get your armies painted, then X-Wing should be your game of choice-- the models come already painted!
It looks like a fun game. I just picked up infinity though, so In don't think I'll be buying models anytime in the near or not so near future. if no one else takes you up on it, I might try a game of it though. I've generally liked FF games in the past (I love netrunner... very good game)

Also, the games play super quick compared. Really easy to pick-up and learn. and it uses special d8 dice!!
Pfft - math. ROLL 6's PROBLEM SOLVED.with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

Seriously, it play nothing like FA, mostly because of the scale difference, and the blind movement. BUT! its a lot more fun, and much faster. Jim and I got in three games and diner last night at DL.
