As the title states, the 4th weekend of August (so as to avoid conflict with Bayou Battles) will be the first Kings of War tournament at Dlair.

Armies will be 2000 points

The Hobby Competition will be painting this month (To make this one easy to get into)

Chess Clock Rules will be optional between opponents. I'd like to see them used as much as possible but if you don't feel comfortable playing under the added pressure yet this month is a freebee.

Remember that this is basically a beta run of how KoW tournaments will run in the future. Nothing is set in stone never to be changed if problems occur or better ideas arise. I very much appreciate all the input from the community. It's helped a great deal (read: beyond measure) to shape this first event and I hope that you all continue to provide feedback.
