Thread: Ronin, the beginning

Got the warband done and the leader modeled up and primed, hopefully next weekend I can get to painting them up, but what color for the robes? Stick with black or go white or yellow, decisions decisions. This is a Sohei monks warband by the way for the minis game Ronin: http://www.amazon.com/Ronin-Skirmish.../dp/1780968469

Yellows and oranges for the robes. White cowls. Let me know when you are going to play. I would like to join.

Actually, my original intention was to highlight using blue on the black robes, and pick out details with other colors. The dead samurai will be painted more than likely in red armor. The minion monks will be black robes too, but more grayish as you mentioned. The Leader figure is a Kensei miniature as are his minions (not pictured). The dead samurai are Perry minis.
