Alright it's Paradiso time again. Matchups will be the same opponent you played mission 101 against. So Evil Homer and I will play. Joehunk and Seppuku will play. Frank and Blackyujiro didn't get to play last week but if they can get their matches in sometime this week or next it's still possible to get caught up.
Following this week matchups will reshuffle with the two players with the highest VP's (Rank 1 and Rank 2) pairing up against each other on the winners path. On the common path Rank 3 will pair up against Rank 4 and if Frank and Blackyujiro can get their games in Rank 5 will play Rank 6.
For those without access to the Paradiso book here's a summary of mission 102 and its objectives:

One thing that does not come through in the summary granik linked but is pretty clear in the book (that may affect army design) is that if you use a remote or G:Servant to activate the devices, you must use literally that same model to do the whole combo. You cannot use the same Engineer or Hacker through different remotes/servants. You can however transfer the sequence from one model to another (even if the model containing the sequence is dead) by spending one short skill in contact with it (no roll needed).
Evil Homer, are you going to be around to play next week so we can get the next round in?
Thanks Granik for setting all this up, thanks Joehunk for playing me the first round, and thanks to everyone else for spending their time playing some Infinity to make this all happen. I like our little community and look forward to the next set of matches and my next adversary.
Seconded. Looking forward to the killing on Thurs. I am actually getting inspired to paint!!
For those playing 202, here are some army design notes:
- Hacker or Engineer required (neither is better, WIP rolls)
- Remotes/G:Servant not allowed to complete objective
- Infiltration/Impersonation allowed, but dangerous (roll to avoid "biohazard", can immobilize)
- Mines and other deployables lose their ability to distinguish friend from foe and will detonate on friendlies too. Miniatures with minelayer, CrazyKoalas, etc. may elect to deploy without them.
- No bonuses for Baggage or EVO.
In light of Blackyujiro's army loss I think we'll add a Ghost Army to the mix to keep things rolling. This army will be playable by anyone playing the campaign that has time to get an extra game in. The army will start with the same VP as Blackyujiro and unless anyone objects will be a Nomad army. Just proxy models with whatever you've got at hand. If Blackyujiro or Psyberwolfe get back and want to jump into the campaign we can just swap them out for the Ghost Army and keep rolling from whatever point we're at.
Wife's dealing with Baby Blues right now so it may be longer than I anticipated when I return. Oh BTW the Reaper KS that is going on has some pretty sweet terrain available that will be perfect for Infinity.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?
