    Eldar n Deldar rnt bros!!

    Allowing Eldar and Dark Eldar to be "battle bros" is my new favorite 6th edition gripe. Not only will this lead to stupid OP and overdone combos, but fluff in both codices and in the BRB goes out of the way to describe a universe where these two factions would not ally, much less ally to the degree where an individual from one would be lurking around leading a squad of the other. What was the point of the gd Fall, if everythings just hunky dory now? Even Larry and Balky wouldnt have been classified battle brothers. Allies of convenience, at best.

    I for one play them like Allies of convenience at least! I don't have the archon attached to them so I can get a re-rollable 2++ or some stupid shiz like that. I play Runes of warding like Shadows instead as it isn't as harsh that way. I hope you didn't think my allies were cheesy.

    I think you have to allow it because the DE book is the de-factor Eldar Corsair/Exodite book. And if you don't allow Corsairs, Exodites and Craftworlds to ally, that's just crazy.

    Yeah I will always be using them as allies so I can have exodite dragon riders and rangers in the same list. Certainly have Not found anything broken yet. Even if you have a rerolling shadow field the unit still breaks combat and gets run down... Or at best gets away but can't do anything for a turn while it rallies...

    welcome to 6th, feh. i get it, allies are allowed. but battle brothers was too much. i mean you think its bad now wait till new eldar book makes it even worse OP. will every game be someone trying out some cheesy allies combo now? its supposed to be the exception to the rule, but now its the rules. and countsas will now be the justification for stupid teamups cheese. le sigh

    I dunno, part of me feels like it will be a passing fad. I am sure there are a few things that will be FAQ'ed, like hopefully limit the Lion Helm usable by units selected from Codex: Dark Angels, but I think a lot of the super cheesy allies combos won't be as OP as people think.

    Wait a second.... your going to complain about allies and over broken combo's from ELDAR? Seriously? One sec and let me go grab your Grey Knight Codex, Necron codex and Space Wolf Codex out of your gaming bag and lets have a discussion of broken combo's

    When has anything in the Elder book or DE book has made anything super scary or made it that they were on the top tables? now all of a sudden a secret handshake, flick of a switch and magic dust they are super deadly? oh no Archon is stronger but I just shot him last time and he died... oh wait same thing happens now.

    And yes, Necrons were built for 6th the new rules for them make them a top tier codex by far.
