I can't tell you an official "start" time, but by the time I get there at 5:30 Tables are filling up fast.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

Thursdays is also minis night at Wonko's. It may be a little bit closer to Georgetown than Dragon's Lair.

Newish to area, looking for a 40k gaming group. I really enjoy the fluff of the 40k universe and prefer casual, friendly type games. So if anyone is looking new group members, or just a friendly pickup game, please send me a PM.

It's starting to get a wee bit crowded. But Eric is usually pretty good about opening up the annex that has plenty of room/

I posted this in the Pick-Ups Malifaux thread as well, but since a few people replied to me in this one, I wanted to post here also.
Hey all - I just got news that I was accepted as a Wyrd Henchman, and am actively trying to get some scheduled events going. So, I have scheduled with DL to be there for demos Mondays and Tuesdays for the next few weeks from 5-7 (I'll bring a few 15ss crews, or you can bring your own models). I am hoping we can get enough people to start an escalation league very soon on either of those days (my plan in setting the demos earlier is that after 7, I will be available for regular games and that we can get an actual spot on the calendar on one of these days. May try organizing a casual tournament for September if people express interest. Also, I made a survey to find out what you all would like to see happen, so please take a moment to fill it out. It is located here Feel free to PM also. Thanks.

    What's up everyone,

I haven't played since 4th edition, but 6th has drawn me back into the hobby. I've started a new army, and look forward to getting out there, meeting some players, and blowing some stuff up.

However, it will be awhile before I'm ready. I don't like to play with unpainted minis, so I'll paint up 1K points before I start looking for games.

Hope there will still be players willing to teach 6th ed noobs by the time I'm ready to play.

You should look into joining the Escalation league we just started up, all the info is down on the events board. It's starting out at 500 points, and is a great motivator to get your stuff painted.
