    Cases

I couldn't think of a better place to put this thread.

I don't yet have a place to store or transport my models and I'm sure I could find something more cost effective than one of the GW model cases. I was thinking of making my own, but I don't know where to find polyethylene foam sheeting locally. Of the places I've found online, shipping is killer.

What are you guys doing for toting your mini's around?

the GW cases are the worst

    i prefer battle foam

however i think you can get by with some bubble wrap and rubbermaid containers if you never put them on an airplane

I use battle foam. Some people use tackle boxes with some sort of fluffy thing that makes 'em softer, but I personally don't like those.

SpiderBite, I appreciate it, but I'm in no hurry at the moment. The battle foam stuff looks pretty good and priced pretty reasonably.

I decided on Battlefoam because I was able to build out what I need with a little room for expansion for about $75 less than I would have gotten with KR. I know I could have gotten away cheaper with Rubbermaid containers and egg crate foam, but I think I'll be pleased with this. If nothing else, I'll look like someone that knows what the hell he's doing when I show up somewhere, and that's got to be worth something.
