Had a great tournament. Four great games, one good one (fella just hated 8th edition).
Big ups to Chris Davis for 3rd overall. Got it done on Battle points, good paint score, and a best game vote to boot. I have it on good authority that Mr. Davis almost conceded his third game, but saved his bacon with some Mind Razor.
Speaking of Dark Elves, Zach went 3-2 and won himself an Orc & Goblin book for lowest Dark Elf general, with an abysmal record of 3-2. Wait, what?
Matt was such a good roommate that he sat on the table next to me for the last 3 games during which time, he missed best High Elf general by a point.
Jesse snagged 3rd best general, but I'm pretty sure he cheated a bunch, so whatever.
Jordan got best Orcs & Goblins general (and one of the Best Army awards? 2nd? 3rd? Don't remember). I got best Dwarfs general (with special thanks to Jesse for 20-4'ing Aaron Chapman in round 4, and to the organizers for giving me Ogres in round 5).
If I left someone off the list, rest assured, it's probably because I don't like you and you offend me personally.
