Seriously, I don't know how a 3rd person shooter with melee would work with a keyboard/mouse and I love play FPS on PC.

[seriousface]Actually that was one of my biggest concerns before the game came out, but they did a fantastic job with the PC controls. You do need a mouse with a scroll wheel to play properly (left-click: fire, right-click: melee attack, middle click: zoom), but it's a very tight control scheme.[/seriousface]

This all spiraled from a thread asking if Chaos Daemons would be fun for some guy's girlfriend to play, and if they were good.

They made it to the top table at Feast of Blades today. So there's that.

The guys who won the Feast invitational this year are not morons. The winner, with Black Templars is a pretty good friend of mine, as is the third best player with Grey Knights. They are very good, both have recent Adepticon wins under their belt, including other GTs. Nick just won Feast, and a few weeks ago won Da Boyz.

They are pretty well known in the tournament circuit. Thomas lost to Daemons played by Wrecking Crew's Kenny Boucher, who is great in his own right.

These guys are legit 40k players.

Ok buddy, i dont know what your beef is. But the particular friends of mine you're calling bad are among the best in the nation. Nick Rose (the tourney winner at Feast) has won 'Ard Boyz several times including this year with black Templars, won da boyz, has won adepticon, just helped the US to 3rd at ETC, I could go on. Fact is, Nick Aka Darkwynn is one of the best players, and a nice guy. He plays Black Templar and he wins with them at the highest level.
