Thread: Malifaux

I'm hoping to find some people to play Malifaux and/or Puppet Wars with. DL or somewhere else around Austin. I've had the game for quite a while, but have not played a game yet. If anyone wants to give it a try and learn with me, I have several crews that you could use. I have time pretty much any afternoon/evening/weekend.

Hey brother, i know there are some Malifaux gamers at DL go speak to Larry and he can point you in the correct dirrection... i think its tuesday nights that they do play. also i play but havent made it up in quite some time and dont want to promise anything beings that i will be playing 6th alot... but dont give up!

Another player and I have a table reservation at DL (austin) for 6:30 on Monday. I'll bring some extra crews/decks and we'll have the space if anybody wants to stop by and give it a try. And Bettythebear, feel free to PM me.

Not quite a pickup, but not quite an event either: I just got an email back from Claire at Dragon's Lair about the table reservation Morella and I have been using.

A: It's been put on recurring every week (Monday, 6:30ish) and now has the potential for 2 tables for miniatures. Feel free to come play and/or learn the game with us.

B: More importantly, it noted that apparently Malifaux has the potential to be added back onto the official calendar of weekly recurring events. It's potentially going to be sharing Tuesday nights with Warhammer Fantasy starting sometime in August, so sound off if you want to join in, have a Malifaux gang, or would deeply prefer those crazy Malifaux kids stayed off your warhammerlawn (you big meanies).

i really want to get my crew on the table. i have my stuff all together but i need to finish getting it painted.

So I started a google group here (no facebook - not a fan of it). Trying to get a read on how many people have crews or are looking to get started. If we can get a regular thing going, and enough people want, I would like to eventually get some formal events on the schedule as well.

We've got a group of four players (myself included) that recently picked the game up and started to play. We've reserved a table at Dragon's Lair the last 2 Tuesdays and have been doing the whole "learn by playing" thing. We've got a Resser (Seamus), 2 Arcanists (Rasputina and Marcus) and my Neverborn (Zoraida). So there's a couple more Malifaux players to add to the mix.

It should be noted however that due to changes in our schedules we'll likely not be meeting up at Dragon's Lair this Tuesday. All the same we'd love to meet with other Malifaux players in the area.
