    Adepticon Painting Contest Entries?

I was planning on attending Adepticon and entering the painting contest. Anyone else? Would love to form a little group for feedback and to help keep me on track.

If I was going to adepticon, I'd be entering the painting comps. As it stands I'm probably doing WGC and Reapercon in 2013. GD if I happen to win that drawing at DL in a couple of months.

Drawing? Raffling off a Games Day ticket or something?

I'm in. I just have to figure out what to do. Probably will depend on how much scratch-building or customization i want to do. (must clean workspace!).

Although I am not going, I've wanted to do a painting collective amongst us for awhile. It would help us improve our WGC judging as well as improve us as painters.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

Did you mean backhanded? I meant that we can always improve, and if we're super critical of ourselves then our judging will get better. That is all.

A backhanded compliment is a criticism disguised as a compliment. An underhanded compliment is just a criticism.

One comment many folks had last year was increased feedback, so if we have more people to fill out feedback sheets, all the better.
