Ok, I split this into it's own thread. Erin, please calm down and I would really hate to see you quit. I'm looking forward to playing you, and always enjoy chatting with you.

That said, I'm more than a little frustrated right now. I started this to have fun, and to try and encourage a more fun style of play than just competitive GT and tournament crap all of the time. It's not just the tremendous number of hours I put into this, but I'm not even a week into my vacation yet, and after dealing with Nick's table-flipping rage quit fall out last weekend I have this now. *sigh*

So, sorry for venting but let me get to the issues here. First off, I went back and checked the challenges, and I'm sorry I realized that i typo'ed a couple of them, but I have been taking out time from my fricking vacation doing this to try and make sure people can get their games in, mistakes happen. The biggest one was:

Ball4eva (Imperial) vs ccrazyman (xenos) for ranov hive city, which should have read:
Ball4eva (Imperial) vs ccrazyman (xenos) for space SE of imperial hive city on ranov

I don't even remember the second one I corrected. That leaves two other "questionable challenges" that I can see. One by us Imperials, and one by the Xenos.

1. Dandy vs Noodlers for w of manufactorum on orias - This strike was accomplished via our Imperial Space Port, I will come back and touch on this issue in the next post so this doesn't get too long.

2. erin (Xenos) vs Kaika (chaos) for ranov hive city - This challenge really doesn't make sense to me, but I didn't raise issue with it, because I'm on vacation (can I say that a few more times), and didn't want to hold up people starting their games. Also, strictly as the rules are written, I think it is allowable - but it's an oversight and shouldn't be. Why? Well, to attack another enemy you have to have a direct path to their space. Here you are striking a space that you are adjacent too, yes, but Chaos has no direct path there. I could see a force of Imperials fighting you over it, but not Chaos. But again, rules as written didn't say anything about that, so challenges towards unclaimed spaces needs some rules clean up ... I'll get to it when I can, but not in the middle of my fricking vacation.
