I think I'm waiting until the first of the month and going for 5. 2x Shael 1x Nassir, 1x Teknes, 1x Hadross. I think. It all depends on if I can figure out how to use them in a D&D game as well. I may end up going the cheap 2 box route though. 1x shael and then something else.

Well, if you end up going the 5 box route but are just getting 2 Shael to fill up the fifth spot, we could maybe work something out so I don't have to choose between the two I can't decide on. Though they may end up offering the starters as an add-on I guess. I shouldn't even be looking at yet another game, but the Shael minis look so nice. Though maybe I will have more free time by next May.

I want 2 Shael because I want the extra Oni models. I actually want 2x Nassir as well but don't want to give up a Hadross starter to get them.

To make matters worse they just posted the Add-Ons for the Large models! Great prices too. I am already in for the 2 starter +book deal, and will likely buy all but one of the large models. I can't get a sense for how many you may ever need in a list though - are they uniques, or hero units? Who knows?

I'm on this and so are a few other people in town apparently.

As for the models. I held them at Gencon and they are the exact same plastic Privateer uses. The molds seem to be a bit better designed and there seemed to be fewer mold lines everywhere. But I've learned mold lines never really come out until you start painting something. Also these models have mostly round edges which seem to work better with this kind of plastic. I've generally found the Hordes plastic kits to be more acceptable than the warjacks.

So anyway I'm currently optimistic they'll be better than what Privateer has been throwing at us lately. If not I've gotten used to working with it so I'll deal.

Also the game was really fun and easy to play. Based off of one demo

    Good to know, Ben. Thanks.

I still love the resin, and if I had had any clue what the model numbers were like and that they would be the PP plastic, I would have bought more of them.
