Relic Knights at Dragons Lair Austin?

    Hi all,
I normally play 40k but was considering hopping into a skirmish level game that's a little less grim dark. Relic Knights seem fun and I like the mechanics/models but I was wondering how often people play? I showed up once or twice in the RK night at DLair but have never seen anyone there to play. I like the models but it would kill me to have them just sit unused on a shelf forever. The game seems pretty dead :/

Yeah, the game pretty much died due to Relic knights not producing enough content to keep the game alive. Some of us have armies but till the new rules come out... were are kind of meh.

After reading this I have decided that the movie "Pineaple Express" should redo one of its quotes from:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Jude Law."

    To:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Nick Rose."

That's unfortunate but understandable. Sad since nothing else has that aesthetic. Guess I'll look to malifaux them

Actually, the new rules did come out. Version 1.5 fixes a lot of issues with squads and victory conditions, as well as making certain models actually KILLABLE.

I would run the games for people and such but sadly, I do not live in Austin anymore and I couldn't score a job in town there. It is sadness, but Houston is just too far to drive for such things...

Yeah, I sent the rules to Matt but I don't think they will be exiticing enough for him to pick up the game again. There hasn't been a new release either for Relic Knights in a long time. It needs a reboot basically but don't know if that will help it.

    PLUS you MOVED TO HOUSTON!

Yeah that's a real bummer. Any ideas for what the models could still be used for? No idea of any games with similar aesthetics
