I'm looking at my options for expanding the Khador box this week and next week, and I'm wondering how effective taking a bunch of bombard effects could be. At 15 points I could have:

Sorscha
Juggernaut
Destroyer
Winterguard Mortar Crew
Wardog

The plot would be to have Sorscha running around near the front with fog of war, wind rush, and the dog giving her a 20 defense (possibly dropping fog of war at times so as to not mess with critical bombardments). Get close to the enemy warcaster, freeze them, and then drop all the bombardments strait on their nearly defenseless head, ignoring all the big metal bodies in between them.

My two main concerns:
1. How bad are the mortar crews if the enemy isn't stuck with ice or knocked down? If I'm reading them correctly, their 5 rat actually maxes out at 3 (-4 innacurate, no aiming bonus, +2 with a buddy). Kind of hard to do anything but pray for good drifts with that level of accuracy.
2. Keeping the dog near a wind-walking, full-advancing Sorscha. Will him charging and then returning to her be enough to keep him near, or am I going to have to move Sorscha with extra care to keep his buffs on her?

Later weeks I could add in some man of war bombards, and eventually switch out the juggernaut for a spriggan (which dual focuses on being another bombard as well as removing stealth from evil warcasters). Maybe some assorted greylords for their ice effects to lower defenses.
