Choosing an army is like choosing a car. You either play it safe and get what everyone else has, or risk getting something more exotic. Just don't get something you can't handle and you'll be fine.

I guess I could have put the armies that I actually play in my post...and I use the word "play" very loosely, since I have yet to get any games in with them yet:

Black Templars (just made from the remnants of my Dark Angels...can go up to about 1500pts with an ok list)
Grey Knights (have about 1500pts, but they are on the shelf until the new dex comes out)
Menoth (have Crix, but the army just doesn't do anything for me and am thinking of getting rid of it)
Vampire Counts (about 1000 points of these and again, like Crix, just doesn't ring my bell)

Typically I play at a friend's house, but starting to attend GW nights at The Game Closet.
    40k - Orks

Pretty new to the game, but thoroughly enjoying it. Looking for local players. Send me a PM if you play in the Waco area.
