You are reading into it. Its called a joke. It has nothing to do with any evaluation of the quality of the piece. It a clever way of introducing, or giving clues to the subject matter without disclosing the contents. Let me put it another way. I have no control over how you took it. So when I correct somebody who quotes me to clarify my position, I expect people to accept that position and not debate me about what I meant. I thought the whole piece was pretty amazing. I looked at the first progress post and was like, "I didn't know there was a hive guard under the dread"? Haha
