Anyone thinking about going to Templecon? Interested in splitting a room?

I realize it's a long time from now, but pre-reg just opened.

Man, the ticket prices aren't too bad. How would you be looking at getting there? Carpooling? Flying?

I'm definitely interested, barring massive expenditures.

If it was in Temple, TX I might consider it.

I'd be flying for sure - my main concern to resolve is how much time to take off of work. Seems like there are reasonably priced flights out Sunday night, but I wouldn't want to miss seeing the end of WM finals.

Expense wise the flight is the main thing - con itself is 45 bucks (including entry into any event), and it looks like the venue hotel is a little over a hundred a night, so 50ish if split.

Yeah, I guess the flight boils down to the major cost-- How soon were you looking to lock things with this down? Or is this still theoretical?

I personally want to get my reservations by early next month, I'm almost certainly going its just a question of timing.

I'm not in a huge hurry to find a roomie though, so if you think there's a good chance you'd be interested and could let me know before December, that'd probably work.

Hmm, just priced that out-- $45 for the event, $150ish for the hotel, ~$300 for the flight... so something like $500? I could afford probably one Con for sure, the question is TempleCon? GenCon? Lock N Load? hmmm.

I have to say, if I could only pick one, Lock N Load is looking pretty good. Cody, if you're at DLair next Wednesday, let's talk about this!
