Wonko's Toys and Games Age of Sigmar Events

Hey everyone! Matt from Wonko's Toys and Games, here to announce more warhammer events we have added to the schedule. Starting Saturday, October 15 and every third Saturday there after, we will be running a map campaign for Age of Sigmar. The event will Start at noon and we have copies of the rules packet as well as a sign up sheet in the store to pick up if you are interested. This will be a limited space event, and it will hopefully run long term.

For those who want a smaller event, every 4th Saturday of the month, starting Saturday, October 22 at noon, we will have a 3 round Warhammer: Age of Sigmar tournament. We will be using the points system from the new General's Handbook. Armies will be 1000 points (we will move up to 2000 eventually when some of our newer players have some time to build up their armies.

Feel free to call the store or message me here if you have any questions. Thanks!

Any more info on the 1000 pt event? I'm interested in going to that one and need to know if there are any additional army restrictions in place.

Well its going to be starting at one instead of noon. (It seems to work better for most of the people planning on playing.) Other than that, the army restrictions for pitched battles are in the new Genera's Handbook. So at 1,000 points you can have the following:

    1-4 -leaders
    2+ -Battleline
    0-2 -Artillery
    0-2- Behemoths
    any number - other units

If you don't have a copy of the general's handbook we have a store copy you are more than welcome to come in and use. Outside of the points and the restrictions above, all of the armies are available to be played. Hopefully this helps.
