Many thanks to you for all the hard work. I know you guys were out fighting the fire that threatened my house here in Leander.

Here is a pictures of my car with all my painted miniatures crammed in the back seat and trunk. Note the police car in the background going through the neighborhood telling us to evacuate.

    Gotta protect what's important, bro!

    "Honey, do we have everything?"
"Yeah, I have all my armies and stuff, we're good"
    "How about the kids?"
    "Who?"

As an update (since I haven't been able to post in a while):

half my garage burned, along with a large portion of my models (my Warmahordes models were ok since they were in my truck anyway and my metal grey knights (that I don't play anymore) since they were in the house...Black Templars are a huge glob of plastic slag, my 2nd Ranger BTN FOW army is metal slag, vamp counts gone, dwarfs gone)
    most of my fence
the yard is a field of ash

All in all, the wife and I consider ourselves VERY lucky! Both houses to either side of mine were pretty much burned to the ground. Insurance will cover most of the damage and the cost out of my pocket will be negligible. Many people were hit much harder than we were and it makes me feel sick for them.
