Lightbulb Valejo Game Color/Air paint at Emerald Tavern!

So I was in Emerald Tavern the other day, and it seems they are breaking out into hobby supplies. To wit, they have a complete line of both Valejo Game Color, and more importantly (to me anyways) Valejo Game AIR, paints. They also had various Valejo varnishes and some primer. I have really enjoyed my Game Air paints, they were a much needed supplement to the Model Air range (that had a very limited, mostly military palette). Also, I love Valejo primer shot through an airbrush - I just can't go back to a spray-can of any kind.

Anyways, just and FYI. Thanks Emerald Tavern for carrying them!

PS. the Game Air and the Game Color were on opposite sides of the store in case you see one and not the other - its there.

Nice! I didn't even know they had that much space for supplies.

Was in Kings Hobby a couple weeks ago and they have the Valejo air paints too. Not sure if it is the entire range as I don't have an airbrush so I don't know what exactly to look for, but I did see a display. Where is a good place locally to get weathering powders?

Kings Hobby was where I got some, but they didn't have a great selection. I ended up ordering from Secret Weapon Miniatures.

Secret Weapon or Vallejo both do great powders, but ordering online is probably the best bet.

I've seen weathering powders at both King's and Greathall. But honestly you can buy yourself a cheap set of earthtone dry pastels and some fine sandpaper and make your own.

    Wonderful information. Thanks.

I've been using Vallejo paints, and it's good to know where I can get more locally. I also just bought an airbrush!

Happy airbrushing. I've been really happy with the Game Air range. If I had a single complaint is that there are 2 yellows that have different numbers but side by side on the palette they are indistinguishable in color (wet or dried). I'm not sure its not a bottle filling error, but every bottle I've looks like the ones I have at home, so I am not sure.
