I play X-Wing at Dragons Lair but I also go to Tenth Planet in Cedar Park for other gaming.
I play X-Wing as much as possible but I'm getting the itch to get into more miniature gaming. From what I've seen it looks like Warmachine would be more my thing so I'm hoping to meet some people who play and can show me the ropes a little.

Looking for a place to play 40k. It has been awhile since I have played, and I have never played at a game store before(only played in a small 4 man group).
I assume Dragon's Lair is the place to be, but what exactly is the protocol to finding someone to play?
Wonko's (North-North Austin) will be having a 40K tournament this Saturday and a few of the regular DL crowd will be there. Even if you don't want to participate, it would be a good opportunity to meet people face to face and get a feel for the local scene.
You can also stop by DL on minis game night, Thursdays, and see what happens.
Last of all, you can post something in the "pickups" subforum of CentexWar.
