Out of context theater WGC V Edition

Ok I'm setting up the thread here for the out of context and off the wall crap you overheard over the weekend. Have at it.:

"Don't worry. All I heard is porn machine on!"

    "Quit humping the apocalypse tables."

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

    paraphrasing:
"Yeah it plays itself, as long as you know and remember to use everything the army has, keep track of all the mission objectives, know all your enemy's army special rules, know exactly what your opponent is going to do, and do everything correctly, then yes it plays itself." jon wolf responding to someone's complaints about Tau

*just noticed the out of context theme. too much of that to remember honestly

"The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."

Rob Baer comes up to Jwolf and excitedly tells John that he needs to play his tau army twice to work the kinks out and see how it would go with his Demons and another army. Basically asking for two games. Jwolf's reply:
    "Yeah, I got 45 minutes."

While playing at the Narrative event I heard the one of the players say "This is 40k - That is Math-hammer" while pointing at the big tourney.

John Wayne and Myself sang IMDABES about a million times...cause we DA BEEEEeeeeEEeessss.
with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

    What's that?

    A Sky Shield.

And you get to deploy that?

    Yes.

    What does it do?

It gives any models in it a 4++ save.

    IT DOES WHAT???!!!

I wonder what he would of said if I had dropped the gunslinger squad on him?
