First tester, not satisfied. Good thing I have a whole shelf of only-painted-white dudes with which to test.

I blew out most of the sepia shadows with they yellow, but you can see a bit on the backpack. I was thinking about a sepia weathering wash, so that will probably help. But I've got 75 or so dudes, so I want a quick production process.

Since these guys are all painted white, a wash should get in all the places I miss with the yellow.

So far this guy was primed white, then airbrushed white and grey, then Vallejo Air Yellow, VA Burnt Umber and VA Medium Yellow. I tried brushing on the Minitaire yellow ghost tint, but that's more like a candy.. Made the yellow more orange and didn't give me any shading, plus it is glossy. I did try the Ghost Tint right over the white and grey model and that might work if I hadn't used grey. The tiny didn't cover they grey at all.

I think I'll try to find some light brown shadow and then a darker wash.

your right i can see it some on the backpack, but i definitely think that is what is missing. The armor looks like its made our of a solid piece of yellow plastic.

I could see incorporating something like some burnt sienna weathering powders to support a sepia wash. I like where it's going in general.

No, not really. Nothing, aside from the Bastion, Aegis Defense Line, Fortress of Redemption, and three Wall of Martyrs sets. Oh, and Plasma Obliterator. So, nothing really, just a few spare bits from other armies.
