Man...I'm gonna hafta go get my world eaters out of retirement, huh? I've got some dreads that have been soaking and I've been eyeing a couple of Calth boxes for the Contemptor (and other stuff too).
with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

I have painted up an Angron and his face is nice and big and the sculpting is so crisp, it really just takes to paint like a fish to water.

I just GIS a bunch of Angron faces and there are some bad ones out there. He's got that strong jaw, so make sure you shade the sides of the face and on back or he's going to look fat. I'm shocked how many fat Angrons are out there. The eyes you won't have to worry about, because he's Angron-- the one dude where crazy eyes is really appropriate. Unless you're going for not quite crazed Angron.

Is the head/face a separate piece? Start with that. I painted a few heads first to make sure it was going to come out all right.

Unfortunately the head is molded into the neckline.

I didn't mean to say it can't be done poorly, just that subtlety and a muted palette help.

Heres the one I did a few years back: http://crusadedude40k.blogspot.com/2...#disqus_thread
