    *sigh* Selling Orks

My original buyer had a family emergency pop-up this weekend. Long story short, I will only be in Austin this weekend and probably won't be back for quite a while. I really would like to get rid of these tomorrow, any serious takers?

3 x Ork Battlewagons (New on Sprue)

3x ForgeWorld Deff Rollas (New on Sprue)

2x Ork Trucks (1 NIB / 1 New on Sprue)

    3 x NIB Nobz

160 x Ork Boyz (Some assembled, some NIB, some New on Sprue, but none painted) (60 Shootas and 100+ and Sluggas)

    5 x Kromlech Mega Nobz

    20x Nobz (New on Sprue)

Tons of Bitz with 2-3 Deffkoptas

    $250

DUDE. The guy is selling a huge amount of Orks at a super low rate, and he continues to get **** fed and lowballed. The battle wagons and rollas alone would set you back his asking price.

Sometimes the members of this community are straight up assholes. I mean I get we're trying to be funny, but how many times are we gonna make the same joke? Is it so damn hard to be nice?

I wish I could buy them from you, but I've gotten out of the Ork game.

I'm not trying to be funny, I just don't want to spend a lot on another 40k army. Apparently the rest of the community feels the same, as Will has been trying to sell off these orks for quite some time, and he's clearly not willing to go to eBay.

When did plastic crack become an investment? It isn't even if you're the best painter in all the world you will never get your money back on this. Furthermore what is in there those who have orks have. Paying $250 dollars for what I want (the Battlewagons) is dumb. Pay full price for the battlewagons for free stuff I'll never use and can't unload myself? No thanks.

He doesn't have to accept it, but that is also cash he isn't going to have, and he'll still be stuck with the stuff. $150 is a good "get them off my hands" price, any more he may as well ebay them while running the chance that no one picks them up.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

I'm not sure why everyone is bitching... it was offered at 250, someone countered with 150. If Will doesn't want it, he can tell Nick to go to hell. Not sure why everyone is getting so uppity about it.

OK, who wants in on a Group buy?

I can put in like $100-$150. I don't want many Boys and only a "fair Share" of the other ****. I can even put forward the cash up front and will be around this weekend.

My name is Matt and I've done this sort of thing before and it worked great - I still have like a Space Marine reserve in my wargaming cabinet.

send me an IM with Name and # if you want in and/or want to chat. Let me know what your sacred cow is - we'll divy up and make it fair, so more sacred cows, the more you might have to pay.

But really - $250 is a great price for this... someone wanting to go in for half of that price would be getting a great deal.
