December 6, 40K Team Tournament at Dragon's Lair, 1000 Points per Player, $5 entry, Doors open at 10AM, Dice roll at 11AM.
We will be using ITC FAQ for this event.
Teams will be paired randomly. Your Teammate will be treated as an Ally of Convenience, No Unbound, LOW Characters only. Paint Scores will be used. So, try to bring 3 color minimal and based.

So we can bring 3 detachments or whatever per ITC format? I would recommend that with 1000pts people be limited to a single CAD or maybe a formation because if a team has like 4 different codexes running around at the same time it is confusing... :/

No limits on sources. But at 1000 points per player, I would advise keeping it simple.

Looks fun, trying to make arrangements to get off that Sunday.
But really, when are we having the HH tourney? Cuz you know enough folks are getting their kits for this.

Can i use 30k Marines/ Horus Heresy Lists?

really.. come on. You'll take any formation from any forgeworld book, online special, Advent calendar PDF or some gamesday exclusive but i can't use the horus heresy list? What possible reason is there to keep them out?
You can't say its due to power level as they are marines without ATSKNF
You can't say its due to people not knowing the rules as there are 13406713076 formations now all with their own rules.
Ill have my army with me on at Thursday if anyone wants see how normal this army looks and feels.
