Wonko's August 40K Narrative Tournament 2000Pts Aug 8
Saturday at 11:00am - 9:00pm

1) Tournaments for the 2015 year will represent various factions fighting for control of an abandoned Eldar craftworld that has re-entered normal space.

2) The army that wins each monthly tournament will be considered to have gained control of a particular Shrine.

3) The faction that controls the most shrines at the end of the December tournament will have won control of the craftworld.

4) Each shrine will contain several Aspect Stones with characteristics that will affect game play. There will be a briefing issued some time prior to the tournament that will give players a hint as to what they may be.

If a character (independent or squad upgrade) ends the assault phase in base contact with a Soul Stone and is not in close-combat, he may pick it up.

Control of an Aspect Stone grants the bearer a benefit as listed in the monthly tournament briefing (as long as he controls the stone). The benefits do NOT stack for a character bearing more than one stone.

If a character is killed, the Aspect Stone is left where he stood.

Players may re-distribute Aspect Stones between games. They may also choose to leave them out (secure them) for the next game or two.

5) Players using the same army (main codex) for two or more consecutive tournaments will gain one re-roll of a die roll of “1” for each consecutive tournament the army has played (so a player using the same army in two consecutive tournaments gets one re-roll per tournament and a player using the same army in three consecutive tournaments gets two re-rolls per game).

6) There may be a mission flow chart based on whether the player won or lost the previous game. Players in the losing flow that have to face a winning player may get a bonus mini-fortification.

7) Soft scores (cumulative):

a. Printed roster (3 copies) +1 VP (not valid if roster printed in the store
