    I second this. A lot of fun and a variety of gamer activities and events - video, board, P&P, Table-top. Its all win.

    E3 is not what it used to be and you wont do much but wander around stunned by the 90+ decibel level and maybe get a fe minutes on a new game or two....save your money. It not very non-industry friendly either. If you were in the video game industry and new a lot of people there might be a chance for some after parties and what not, but it is NOT a tourist destination by any means.

    PAX was really neat when i went, but the focus is definitely video games it is is crowded as **** and every hotel for like 100 miles is probably already sold out

    I'd vote for taking a nap. All of these shows are crowded and full of annoying stuff.
