    Dark Dark Eldar

Scroll to the bottom. Those new DE are so nice I just might have to start an army. I've always HATED the DE because the models were so bad.

I've been eying the Dark Eldar too. I am very excited to play them. Originally I was making an Eldar Pirate army using the Craftworld codex, but now that this book is coming out, I hope to make a number of ambiguous models that can be used as either Defender Guardians or Warriors and Storm Guardians or Witches. I think the key is going to be getting enough Eldar Lasguns and Las Pistols (which neither army uses but could represent shrieken or splinter weapons).

I think the Bikes will be the easiest, just magnetize the underslung weapon and add a few guardian helmets... Hope it doesnt come off as a cop out :/ But then again it isn't like I'm just adding Goat Heads to my marines and calling them whatever I want... hehe

The new DE models are sick in the best way possible. Simple, elegant, and very atmospheric.

I actually like the new DE models. Good grief. I might have to start an army just because the models are so very sweet.

You have no idea how wrong I feel even thinking that...

Those "Dark Scorpions" look nice enough that I'd just want to own a squad of them to paint up. If I could go minimalist and play DE non-horde style than that's just icing on the cake.

If I tell you, "You're wrong," you'll need to click this.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

Mike, you're not one of those "bring back the Squats" guys, are you?

I'm with you there. They are one of those armies that I have always loved the fluff on but wouldn't spend a single dollar on the models....now tha may change.

This thing turned out great... (though I like the larger sails in the original concept, might have to customize that)

I believe it even has retractable plank...no, seriously, it does. The little rectangular piece with the two oval holes can be pulled out - at least it was illustrated that way in one of Jess Goodwin's concepts.
