Hey guys, so my fiancee got me the Chinese Island of Blood box, which has SURPRISE Chinese rules! So I'm online trying to learn how, and I got the rulebook and the two army books for Skaven and High Elves, but can someone explain magic to me. It seems really confusing right now.
Where do I find spells for the lores?
Do we choose the spells from our chosen lore?

Also, is there any other beginner advice you can offer? My fiancee and I are going to learn this together, and forgo magic until we have a better grasp of basic rules.
