Does anyone remember the late 90s incarnations of the miniature game Warzone? It was an even smaller scale/more skirmish sci-fi game to compete with 40k at the time. They later produced a fantasy version as well, Chronopia. My gaming group at the time got very into both of the games in addition to our 40k play, and I had really fond memories of them. It was a really great rule set I felt, and I know that my gaming group at the time actually much preferred the play to 40k or fantasy.

Well it looks like Prodoss games has updated the rules, and are updating many of the miniatures. Not everything is available yet, and it looks like they lack an American distributor as the only shop I see is in pounds, and thus shipping from the uk. However, Blue Table Painting is selling them, and starting to run some bat reports and such of them. I'm not ready to jump back in at this second, but the game was a really fun game in the day, it looks like they have some interesting concepts that they have added to the rules, and if the line gets fleshed out a bit more and maybe an American distributor is found I think it would be great to get back into ... with low model counts it would be really affordable to get into as well.
