Thread: Trollkin Highwaymen

Okay, so now that these have been mentioned in eGrim's tier list, I'm excited to see them. Forum speculation has been a little wild, though sounds like Light Cav is the most popular theory so far. Plus with the new IKRPG class totally oriented in that direction, I'm inclined to accept that as a strong possibility. But the idea of "Trollblood light cav" is practically an oxymoron, so I'm definitely curious. Maybe pygs? Riding lesser warbeast "Dust Trolls"? (hey, those make as much sense as the Night Troll ...)

Anyone seen anything more solid?

No news. It's troll's turn I guess. Menoth has had a mystery unit in one of their tiers ever since wrath. They're currently going crazy trying to figure out what manner of light cavalry it is...so we can anticipate it being years until we get Highwaymen (hopefully not though).

Hey now, Cygnar had a mystery unit in Kraye's tier list ever since Mk. II. Which we always assumed was mounted gun mages anyway but yeah.

First time I've heard it guessed to be mounted Zealots. There seems to be a constant holy war in the menoth forums over whether they're mounted daughters, idrians or cleansers (because combining horses and flamethrowers makes SO MUCH SENSE).

I can't think of a light cav that would want to be in combat. They'd lose the light cav move. Wouldn't it make sense for some kind of iridan raiders mounted on arabians or something to ride by and throw bombs or something?
