They ruled on the corsairs dancing after over watch but only for the bikes. I guess they assumed jetpacks were okay even though they can do it to.

I am also okay with the GC toe in crap although that is yet another "buff" for drop grav cent which even when a WK is in cover gets deleted in a single volley.

Drop pod cents didn't care about cover anyway because hunters eye exists now.

This change helps everyone else not running white scars or wolfstars.

I'm just waiting now for it to be the Eldars turn on the chopping block just like Tau. Wraithknights not being banned by now makes no sense with the dozens of other banned LoW.

Granted I am not any sort of authority on the meta but a WK with a sword shield is only good against the other obnoxious units out there... Death Stars, imperial Knights, exc. With the change to D and now toe in cover, do you think we will see any Dcannon WKs? I wouldn't take one. That new dark shroud cannon is pretty awesome but without cover the WK shouldn't be too hard for most armies to pick away at. Just my thoughts.

I think any army that doesn't have access to grav or ranged D will benefit from this rulings and make the game less one sided. And if these rulings get people to stop taking wraithknights, than i say mission accomplished.

I only post this because I find the comments humorous whenever the subject of eldar comes up, but meh, he's already invisible so you've got to hit him first. Bit [for the most part] seriously, when I use cover, I'm actually in it. I see plenty of people sit their models on terrain edges.

There is never a reason to NOT bring a wraithknight. Even without easy cover saves it is still worth 300+ points against anything but grav spam.

You could take the guns off a wraithknight, No D sword, and no invul save and it would still be a good unit. Its base stats + GC rules are too good for <300 points.

I have to agree. It is one of the most point efficient units in the game and it really only has one hard counter.

Though to be fair that hard counter (drop grav/scout grav) is extremely common.

"A model may only take a cover save against a Screamer’s Slashing Attacks if it is in a piece of terrain that grants cover for being in it (excluding vehicles) or there is a special rule granting it cover."
How long has this been ITC rules? I thought cover saves were only to be taken against shooting attacks. Am I wrong?

Screamer slashing attack is a weird thing. its done in the movement phase like a vector strike.

It is neither a shooting, melee, or psychic attack. and the only other ability that works like it already has "ignores cover" aka vector strike.
