Honestly... no one should have or started with a spaceport on turn 1 esp with all the issues its bringing. The biggest thing everyone is caught off guard while trying to understand the dynamic.

Something needs to get changed with shields and/or ports tho. The 'fix' made on ports (when you broke it the first time :P) just made things worse.
We should all sit down tonight and discuss how to fix, but as is if shields protect from both ground and air, it is setting this thing up to be over by turn 2 quite possibly.

Not a huge problem - just having you both in this I wanted to make sure people knew, since I know I go back and forth with real and screen names.
I think you were one of the first people I played when I came back from my skipping 5th hiatus.
