Yeah I'm not worried at all about 400+ point dudes with 4-5 attacks and no hit and run, and who are all footslogging while they are at it.
That is almost a bad joke compared to the current craziness of 40k currently. A stormsurge can basically solo any primarch which is the saddest thing.
I Noodlers, solemnly swear not to buy any new or used models until I have completed the following
Painted my Chaos Space Marines, Dark Angels, and Imperial Guard to a tournament standard
I've signed up for the narrative and apoc game. Now let's see if I can actually get away from the house for that long. They price hike was a bit of a shock, but the tables they build are expensive.
ISO a team for narrative play, I have loads of Red Scorpions. I would like the team to be fluffy.
Happy to fight solo if it works out that way.
Signing up for Apoc Sunday, too.
Brian and his brother are teaming up and the teams this year are 3 or 6 man. Bal4eva, like I mentioned last night, I have another SM player from the South Austin 40k group that has their ticket for Fri & Sat. If we're all playing Imperium, we could all combine and make a 6 man team. I think the team games will still by 3 vs 3, but narratively, it would be cool.
The last I heard from Dan and Glenn, it's going to be 1500 pts per person, single codex. I'm toying around with the idea of painting a few more terminators and making a Strike Force Ultra. First company coming to save the day (and most likely be outgunned as well as outnumbered), so I'll probably need some good support. If I don't do that, then it will be a single Demi-company Gladius, but I'm getting bored with that.

That's because BC is inherently boring.
And with the new FAQ banning riding in Battle Brother's rides...even from the same army, if I understand that correctly...then I'm going to have to do some re-tooling of my list to make it work like I want it.
I'm thinking it's time to go back to good old-fashioned CAD.
Which is borderline heresy, I know...but I wants to play with what I wants to play with, and the only way to get it is with CAD. That's crazy talk I know.
Malory: Jesus, God, Sterling. School girls?!
Archer: Oh, those are just costumes.
Malory: And I suppose that makes it better?
Archer: Doesn't it?
