    Well...that sucked.

Got a game against granik and his Haqq yesterday(thanks btw). Learned a few more rules that I hadn't come across, which is always good. But I really gotta say, that the Haqq tag is just evil....evil I say. Decimated me pretty much in turn one. Lesson learned? Starting in prone when going second, yeah I should do that more.
Saving grace...sort of, one of my two kills against granik just happened to be his Lt.
All in all though, it was a good game.

I played Minus67 and his Pan O Thursday with my Aleph. I learned that I need to remember facing a lot more in this game, and quite possible paint facing lines on my bases. Also, guys arriving from the board edge with heavy machine guns are not not. Of course that's one of the things I like about Minus67.

How's this? I just looked at my list and realized that I used the 250pt, instead of the 300. That means rematch, granik, lol.

Heh I'm certainly up for a rematch. Playing a 250pt list vs. a 300pt list is a pretty significant handicap. I felt a little bad about the amount of damage I did in the first turn. I've been on the other side of that enough to know it can make for a pretty frustrating game, but you were a great sport about it. I'm up for a match any time and I'm good to do a less competitve learning match with anyone anytime if it seems like it would be useful. I'm just super excited to find more people to play with glad to do whatever I can to make it more fun for everyone.

I may have to bring my Nomads next time. I don't think I can even make a 300pt list with my PanO, without proxying anyway. Besides, I think my Nomads have more ways to deal with heavy hitters.
