Eh, I didn't get one myself. I'm going to take some time to think about what I want to do, whether take the 500$ room charge myself and get one of the king bed rooms, or maybe get a two double room at one of the many hotels nearby.

awesome. I think they are now totally sold out of rooms. nothing is showing up on search results, even king beds, etc.

who else will be staying at other hotels? my wife and I will be going, but won't actually have a car. have to be 25 to rent a car, and we're not quite there yet... so if someone else is staying nearby for the con, it would be awesome if we could carpool with ya.

There's a Towneplace Suites over by the Target - about a 10 minute walk - that's going for $79 a night via Priceline.

If this is how this tourney is going to run, I'm not bothering with it next year. My budget doesn't allow me to drop this much in one go. This is crap.

We stayed at the Extended stay my first year and it is really close, right behind the target.
