Thread: 40k Monday - New List, New Fun

Alright, Ladies and Gents. I have an important announcement to make: I am changing up my Armored Company list.

The original will stay, of course, because sometimes First Company needs to show up in full force. However, I have recently added a cruicial third chimera to my collection.

"What does this mean?" you may ask. Well, the forgeworld list requires you to take one elites choice Platoon Command Squad in order to permit me to take two Armored Fist squads as troops.

So, my new list removes three (3) Leman Russes and replaces them with infantry squads an chimeras.

"Wonderful!" you might say. I will forlornly disagree, but it is a necessary change.

However, to test this list, I require games. And I would like to get a game in soon, so that a) I can figure out what to buy next, as it matters for the direction of my regiment and b) it's monday, so I need my slacktime more than ever.

Any time works. I'm adding things to my army and the like right now, so I can do it tomorrow at any point. Just gimme a ring. I do have class in the morning though. (Roughly 0800-1300)

How many points are we talking here?

on a serious note, I'd like to get a game against that list at 1500. It's basically what I ran in that big 2v2 we played last week, unless I speed paint some terminators to keep Lysander company in the land raider.

And should I bring Guardsman with Meltagun or 3x Guardsmen? Or 2x Guardsmen and a sniper rifle? hmmm

Sucks. Maybe some other time.
