    Alamo isn't exactly Games Day either, but the comparison on goals/general tournament viewpoint stands.

    EDIT: Also, it's worth mentioning at a competitive event where 255 out of 256 players did not win, you're bound to have some level of grumbling - even if you're not part of the grumble, you still hear it. At an event where goofing around and drinking is the focus rather than trying to "win adepticon," it's perfectly possible for 60 out of 60 people to goof around and have fun.
