    Arise from the dead, thread!

I still want to dirty up the blue on the inside of the doors, but otherwise, I'm pretty pleased with these.

Just finished these up. I know... heavy bolter devastators... I built them for deployment zone defense for this round and I'm hoping for the best. They aren't as shiny as the desk lamp makes them look.

Been working on something for Escalating... eventually I'll be able to squeeze it in.

This was the last piece I routinely played with unpainted. Glad to have him done.

I guess it's just me left doing this. Oh well. I'm still in the closet about my nerd game with most of my friends, so I'll ask for feedback here.

The crappy army instructions for this kit caused me to have to glue the front door shut (the inside is painted) and break off the hurricane bolters (they're held on with magnets now). Words may have helped. Maybe...

    Oh no!

Well, it turned out great. My only feedback would be to add a little edge highlight like what you've done on your other models. This seems darker than your troops.

Also, I noticed you used the "At Death Door" Hurricane Bolter position, so troops exiting from the sides walk right into the line of fire.

I was just following army instructions in true style and not thinking critically about it. (says the former airman)

That's fine, the Assault Cannon shoots right into the Assault Ramp, so whatcha-gonna-do. I actually prefer the look of them in the back, in the front gives them a weird front-heavy look.

I like the HB sponsons mounted to the rear better, too.
