    finishing up an old project

I'm getting ready to head back out to sea in the next few weeks and I got the itch to finish a diorama I've been meaning to make for a few years now.

Diorama needs more enemies. Unless the two of them secretly loathe each other and are forced into close contact every day by their positions. That could make for an interesting dynamic...

I like the Coast Guard theme you've got going on. Excellent use of the heavy stubber.

    WOOHOO! GO COAST GUARD!

When I was in the Army I did a year and a half TDY tour on a couple of cutters. Was a fun time.

I'm finishing up my Merchant Marine Officer training at Texas Maritime Academy in Galveston, subcampus of A&M.

Servo Helmsman, this cumbersome old unit is hard bolted to the bridge. He has one arm for the ship's wheel and his other arm was removed to install a gyrocompass, GPS, ECDIS, 40k thingamajig. Doesn't look all that great but it was fun in the making, he'll fit the atmosphere of the ship.
