I literally just moved down from Wisconsin to make my home down here and someone told me there was a booming 40k community in the area!
Very excited, though somewhat sad as Warmachine/hordes isn't as popular, but that just means I'm trading in for some armies.
I understand Dragon's lair is a popular meet'n'play, just wondering if anyone is around on mondays there?
Welcome to Austin! The normal meetup times are Thursday at around 7pm with the Dragons Lair tourney being the first Sunday of every month. You can dig around the forums and find more specifics about times, and if you want to game just start a thread in the pick ups sections and I'm sure someone would oblige you.

There is a wmh Facebook group. Apparently there are players at other stores, just not so much at dragon's lair.
like matt said there is a tournament at dragons lair the first sunday of the month at 1000am and there is a narrative event at wonkos the second Saturday of the month at 1100am
