Maybe they are just trying to get a handle on what people are playing, what events to schedule, and possibly any items to bring into the store?
My guess is that that's what it is. I know the guys at Tribes are trying to figure out which direction to take their store. They had 4 boxes of AoS on release day. They have the same 4 boxes today.
