I like to make my major tactical mistakes early in the game...usually around deployment time.

I swear that's half the reason I'm going to start playing thunderwolf blackjack. My deployment flowchart then becomes: "Are you as close to your opponent's units as possible? Yes -- Great! You're deployed! No -- You're doing it wrong. Re-deploy until you can answer 'Yes'."
