Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?
My only issue with Flakk Missiles is that you will have them and you will want to use them, but goshes if your missiles don't just want to fire at that tank in the corner.

Any Unit behind an Aegis Defence Line is a MUCH better option in almost every way.
I think you are spending too many points on a Jack of All Trades unit that can only do 1 thing a turn.
I'm still thinking ML's are better options even without the Flakk missiles.
