Im starting to paint another army now and I was wondering what washes people use, I havent used any so far, I usually just take some choas black and water it down and use that on everything.
Im about to order some more paint so I was wondering if anyone recommends the GW washes or the secret weapon ones?
I like the GW washes, also I have been playing around with Les Bursley's wash recipe and have ordered his pre-made washes off the website. They are really good, and I don't have to send GW any money when I run out of their washes.
Keep in mind this is from someone who HATES to paint! Anything that allows me to kick a model through the paint process faster I am a fan of...washes are my "talent in a bottle".

I absolutely love the GW washes. They all have something to offer, and really help bring a model together.
I use GW washes. I also make my own with diluted Future floor polish/cleaner.
Washes are amazing. They make every color look a bit more organic and even. plus it's insta-shade-in-a-can.
Yeah look at Beamo's Bjorn model he just spray painted it blue and then washed it with Badab Black and Bam!

GW washes are amazing liquid skill. If you're not using them you're missing out. Take a crap model that looks like a 5 year old painted it in bright primary colors, slather badab black all over it, and it dries into sweet shading and grim darkness! I absolutely hate painting, but the easy results that washes provide make it bearable.

So sounds like the GW ones are the way to go....
