I completed my Storm Eagle last night. I have a Rhino to finish and have given up on finishing my bases....

Can't wait to see these storm eagles and talons all over the place. Along with the Necrons, and Orks. 40k really nailed the look of these flyers in my opinion.

So agree, the opportunity for top gun quotes will be off the scale.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Except for basing one medium walker I'm pretty much done! Need to add some underbrush to the bases, but that can be done by Friday. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Done. With plenty of time to spare. Now I will never paint anything again.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

What's that board they are on?

Scale model resin battleship deck, from some company or other. I bought one from King's Hobby that looked like it had been sitting on the shelves for 20 years, and I ordered another one, but the poured resin wasn't very high quality, so they're not quite the same size and don't line up very well. That's why my Nids are crammed so close together on the one board. I might try to dremel the other one down to fit next to this one and mount them together.

Congrats on the painting award, btw.
